The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to partner with the International Raptor and Falconry Center to present “Celebrating World Falconry Day” at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.
November 16, 2024 is World Falconry Day and Dr. Michele Losee founder of the International Raptor & Falconry Center will be presenting at the Sedona Film Festival Theatres.
Falconry remains a hidden world for most, and this event offers an unprecedented opportunity for your readers to step inside the exclusive world of falconry, where tradition and conservation meet in powerful ways.
In addition, four live raptors (species used in falconry) will be the highlight, as they grace the theater, bringing the essence of falconry directly to the audience in a way few people ever get to see.
Attendees gain an intimate view into a living cultural heritage that has been preserved over centuries, now a designated living cultural heritage by the United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization.
